What can I store?
You can store most items, however South Cave Self Storage operates under British law and as such it is illegal to store objects such as firearms, illegal substances (drugs, explosives), dangerous weapons or anything else that is illegal or that could be harmful to public health. In addition you cannot store food stuffs and other perishable items.
Will my possessions be safe?
CCTV surveillance, gated entrance and fenced perimeter together with high quality container locks housed in factory fitted lock box ensures your possessions are safe and secure.
Will my storage be private?
Yes. Your storage unit is protected by your own padlock and only you retain the keys.
Will I need to insure my items?
Yes. The goods in your storage unit remain your responsibility. You will be required to have insurance cover against loss or damage to your goods during the period of storage. It is normally the case that your home contents insurance will not cover your goods in storage. If your goods are worth storing, they should be insured!
